Unit Secretary

Full Time Days (Four 8 hour shifts with a Saturday rotation)

Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Under general supervision, the Unit Secretary provides clerical support to the radiology department.  As a member of the radiology department, the Unit Secretary conducts themselves to promote an organized and positive culture on the unit.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
Essential Job Functions

Burns CD and request outside images
• Answer telephones
Prepares schedules and patient charts for next work day
• Provide routine approved information
• Relay calls and messages as needed 

  • Verify physician orders, patient paperwork and all related information
  • Understands EPIC, PACs, Stratus, & Clario
  • Legal Release information and procedures

Patient Population
