About The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, Australia Post Academies, you’ll play a strategic role in equipping our people with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving landscape. Leading the development of four Future Ready academies, this is your opportunity to shape capability uplift across critical areas like digital, data, robotics, retail, and operations, directly aligned to our bold Post 30 transformation strategy.
What you’ll deliver with us
In this senior leadership role, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of strategic learning academies that drive measurable capability uplift and performance outcomes. You’ll work closely with internal sponsors, subject matter experts, and external partners to deliver best-in-class learning solutions that empower our workforce and accelerate business transformation.
You’Ll Also
- Lead the design and delivery of four Future Ready academies across Digital & Data, Retail, Network (Robotics/Mechatronics), and Operational Excellence.
- Partner with business sponsors to scope learning needs and source high-impact internal or external capability solutions.
- Manage relationships with vendors and delivery partners to ensure quality, relevance, and innovation in learning programs.
- Embed robust measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness and ROI of learning initiatives.
- Own and manage academy budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, optimisation, and alignment with strategic priorities.

You’re a strategic, collaborative leader who’s passionate about building future-ready workforces. With a strong customer mindset and a drive for innovation, you thrive in complex environments where you can connect big-picture thinking with practical, impactful outcomes.
You’Ll Also Need
- Demonstrated experience leading capability programs within a Centre of Expertise, ideally in logistics or retail environments.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering partnered capability solutions, including in priority areas such as Digital, Data, and Robotics.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across senior leaders, business units, and external learning partners.
- Deep understanding of workforce capability strategy.
- Technical proficiency in capability framework design, budget and procurement management, and learning solution development.
