About The Opportunity
Join our Organisational Design team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, helping to shape transformation and strategic growth across the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how we structure and operate, ensuring the organisation is agile, efficient, and ready for future success. You’ll work in a collaborative environment, partnering with leaders and People & Culture experts.
This role is currently advertised in Melbourne VIC however we are also open to applications from Sydney NSW and Brisbane QLD.
What you’ll deliver with us
As an Organisational Design Consultant, you’ll own and deliver key projects that optimise organisational structures and processes to meet strategic goals. Success means enabling leaders and teams to work smarter and more effectively through tailored design solutions. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders across all levels, driving change and transformation that makes a real difference.
You’Ll Also
- Lead and support the design and implementation of fit-for-purpose organisational structures aligned with strategic priorities and the Australia Post strategy.
- Partner with senior leaders and People & Culture Business Partners to deliver operating model transformations.
- Contribute to cost optimisation and workforce planning through effective organisational design and financial input.
- Project manage change initiatives through timely and coordinated execution. Including fostering strong relationships with People & Culture centre of excellence teams required to execute on organisational change.
- Apply continuous improvement to design practices, identifying ways to enhance impact and delivery.
About You
You’re a collaborative and strategic thinker who builds trust easily and enjoys solving complex problems. You use data and insights to guide decisions and influence organisational design and change. You’re comfortable getting into the detail and contributing to delivery, not just strategy. With a strong background in business partnering or similar roles, you’re ready to specialise in organisational design and help shape our future workforce.
You’Ll Also Need
- Proven experience in organisational design within large, complex organisations, delivering structural and operating model changes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with senior leaders and People & Culture teams.
- Solid understanding of contemporary organisational design principles, change management methodologies, and workforce planning.
- Strong data literacy and excellent written communication skills, capable of producing clear, compelling design documentation.
