We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to join an enterprise IT team in the insurance sector. The
role involves developing and optimising Oracle-based systems that support core business processes such as
policy management and financial operations. You will design scalable database solutions, enhance existing code,
and contribute to system modernisation and integration projects. Work is carried out in an Agile SCRUM
environment with close collaboration between developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using PL/SQL and Oracle technologies
- Design efficient and scalable database solutions and optimise performance of existing code
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SQL and Oracle performance issues → Support database and application migrations → Collaborate with team members in Agile SCRUM projects
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Integrate PL/SQL applications with other enterprise systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, PL/SQL development, TOAD, SQL Developer
- Proven experience with Oracle Forms
- Performance tuning and optimisation of SQL queries and procedures
- Agile/SCRUM project experience
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Good English (minimum B1) for technical documentation
Nice to have:
- Domain knowledge in insurance or financial services
- Experience in large-scale system migrations
- Knowledge of integration patterns with enterprise systems
- TIA system experience
- Familiarity with modern development and security practices
