Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

At Worley, we know the world is changing—and so are we. We’re accelerating toward more sustainable energy solutions, while continuing to deliver the energy, chemicals, and resources society depends on today. Our customers trust us to help them solve some of the world’s most complex challenges, and we do it by working together—sharing knowledge, exploring new ideas, and building smarter ways forward.

Play an integral role in ensuring project success by bringing your scheduling, cost control, and change management expertise to our team.

Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for coordinating change management activities across projects—balancing cost analysis, scheduling, and communication to keep everything moving in the right direction. You’ll prepare and maintain complex engineering and construction schedules, track and report on project costs, and help manage change orders from start to finish. Your ability to connect the dots between data, people, and process will make a direct impact on how our projects are delivered.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules for proposals and active projects.
  • Develop and deliver accurate, timely project cost reports, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
  • Liaise with project management teams to coordinate cost control and scheduling activities.
  • Generate, track, and manage change orders, including obtaining quotes and maintaining supporting records.
  • Work closely with cost specialists and the broader construction management team to ensure alignment.
  • Conduct site visits when necessary to review cost reporting and validate project progress.
  • Evaluate cost escalation and contingencies, providing clear insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot issues and improve systems, processes, and tools.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff and contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • A university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or substantial equivalent experience.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in cost analysis, planning, scheduling, or change management within engineering or construction environments.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and cost control systems, processes, and tools—with the ability to guide others and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the judgment to make decisions independently while balancing project priorities.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
  • A collaborative mindset—you thrive in team environments but can also drive your own work with minimal supervision.
  • A practical, cost-conscious approach, always seeking the balance between efficiency and accuracy.

Feel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including paid time off, holiday pay (usually 6 per year in the US), and eligibility to participate in the medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as our 401K plan.

Join us and put your skills to work where they matter most. Apply today and bring your expertise to a global team that’s solving real challenges and shaping the future of energy, chemicals, and resources.
