Description & Requirements

Infor is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join its Data Ledger application team. The role involves developing and maintaining the Data Ledger application. Data Ledger is a component of the Infor Data Fabric platform, designed to ensure the integrity of data ingested from different source applications into the Data Lake (unlimited storage). It provides automated monitoring and alerting system which helps identify issues in data integrity. You will be working on project with latest market technologies and standards (Java 21, Spring Boot 3.5, Microservices, Gradle). For daily work we offer AI subscription for Amazon Q developer and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes: As a software engineer, you’re responsible for delivering high-quality software. You will work within a multidisciplinary agile development team in close collaboration with other software engineers, QA engineers. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally.
Required skills:

• Experienced with Java Web Application development and Web Services development (Java 17+, REST, Spring Boot, …);
• Experience with Object-Oriented software design;
• Considers and treats Unit testing as intrinsically part of his work;
• Experience with Development tooling (e.g. Maven, Gradle, Nexus, JIRA, Git,.. );
• Good communication skills (written and oral) in English;
• Proactive problem solver.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc technical degree, preferably Computer Science or other technical education;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes;
• Knowledge of AI for daily work (Amazon Q developer, …) ;
• Knowledge of Cloud application development and/or general Cloud Experience;
• Experience with and enjoys working within an international agile development environment.
• Knowledge of AWS (OpenSearch, SQS, S3)
