About The Role

Roles And Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the Compensation and Benefits Officer includes but is not limited to:
- 1. HRIS system (Employee Data)
- 2. Payroll and Social Insurance Management
- 4. Healthcare Premium Insurance Program
- Manage the employee personnel database on HRIS system and Excel (employee’s information, working, leave history, contract renewal, probation appraisal, job transfer, leave & overtime application, termination) and issues reports upon requirement.
- Develop and implement the process of managing employee profiles online and hard copy documents.
- Prepare monthly payroll data for local and expat employees.
- Process payroll for local & expat on HRIS system double check between manual and system payroll.
- Check and collect social insurance (SI) information of new joiners, manage SI book & handover for resigned employee.
3. Pit Management
- Take in charge of PIT tax code for new hire/service providers and PIT dependents.
- Register e-tax account for expatriate employee.
- Issue PIT tax receipts to terminated full time employees/service provider/student as requested.
- Prepare PIT finalization data: authorized/unauthorized individuals list, dependents registration for tax deductions, follow up PIT finalization documents of unauthorized expats as requested.
- Update increased/decreased/revised employee information and ensure eligible employees, their dependents are included in the up – to date insured list.
- Follow up/support Healthcare insurance matters: cards, costs, direct billing/claiming procedures.
- Compare data with healthcare insurance provider for finalization at the end of the health contract cycle.
- Handle & follow up documents for healthcare contract renewal and proceed payment.
5. Administration
- Prepare & follow up Offer letter for all full-time staff & faculty.
- Follow up and prepare relevant documents (Probation/ Renewal Labor Contract Evaluation/ Transference/ Promotion) procedures.
- Follow up and prepare relevant documents of Offboarding Process (Decision, Termination Agreement, Final Payment) and inform relevant departments.
- In charge of benefits tracking and payment request procedures (HR services, Internship Allowance, Tuition, home trip..).
- Perform admin tasks (issue employment certification as requested, handle internal ad-hoc requests).
- Provide general advice regarding HR policies, procedures, and services verbally, via e-mail and refer any queries from the HR internal mailbox to other HR staff as appropriate.
- Support guidelines and policies, enhance appropriate internal processes.
- Prepare & submit Labor/Government reports, provide HR data related to internal & external reports for other departments.
Qualifications
What we look for
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law or in a related field
2. Employment/Professional Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits field and hands-on payroll process, preferably in multinational companies.
3. Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese languages.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, Human resource software.
- Knowledge of the Vietnamese labor code, personal income tax regulations and statutory insurance laws and their application at work.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize accordingly and maintain exceptional attention to details.
- Value and commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion, empathy, and cooperation.
