This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule, Monday - Thursday, anytime between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Eastern Time (5 hours a day/20 hours per week)

Scope of Work:
  • 20+ hours/week, with potential for more hours
  • Lead role in managing Shopify and eBay operations
  • Support platform expansion and backend integration
  • Handle vendor coordination and financial admin tasks

Client Overview:

Join a rapidly growing designer goods business working with over 200 top brands like Gucci, Prada, and Saint Laurent. This small, fast-moving team sells to both businesses and consumers and is expanding into new platforms, including live shopping. This part-time role is a great chance to become a key part of the company’s growth. You’ll manage product listings and inventory across Shopify, eBay, and other platforms, working closely with the owners. There’s room to take ownership of key processes and grow into a full-time role based on your performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Format and upload inventory from Google Sheets into Shopify product listings with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage Shopify backend, including product details, inventory, and orders, ensuring smooth and professional operations
  • Handle eBay listings as the primary sales focus, maintaining consistency and professionalism in product presentation
  • Sync inventory across platforms using the Export Your Store app to ensure reliable and accurate updates
  • List products on emerging platforms like Depop, Poshmark, Whatnot, and Tilt while adhering to brand standards
  • Track expenses, manage receipts, and perform basic bookkeeping with confidentiality and accuracy
  • Create and follow up on invoices in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct market research on designer goods trends to support informed business decisions
  • Coordinate with international vendors connected to the Shopify backend while maintaining professional and respectful communication
  • Ensure inventory stays synchronized across all sales channels with precision and accountability


Requirements

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication, maintaining professionalism in all interactions
  • Shopify backend experience (inventory, data import/export, product management)
  • eBay selling and platform management experience
  • Familiarity with Export Your Store or similar apps
  • Strong data entry and product catalog management skills
  • Experience with platforms like Depop, Poshmark, Whatnot, etc.
  • Bookkeeping knowledge and financial record-keeping
  • Highly organized, reliable, and professional in managing tasks independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling company data, financial records, and external communications
  • Market research experience is a plus
