Senior Python Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for Python Engineers. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager. Product Analyst's/Managers to refine user stories and requirements and identify, prioritize and execute tasks within the software development life cycle. 

• Develop and maintain Python applications
• Design and deliver reliable, readable, and maintainable code
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Implement new features, perform code reviews, provide technical support, and resolve bugs
• Contribute to system architecture design and create technical documentation
• Actively participate in code reviews and help improve overall engineering standards
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical solutions and project progress
• Our tech-stack is continually evolving but to give you a flavour of what we’re currently working with here are some of the tools we use;
• Languages: Python
• Tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, cloud AWS, Grafana, Firebase

Methodologies: Agile, Scrum; we have 14 day sprints and SU are held online using Slack

Requirements

• At least 4-5 years of experience as Software Developer.Should have an experience with fintech processes and big plus knowledge of cards issuing/processing.Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.Ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages.Experience with SQL databases {PostgreSQL, MySQL}.Good understanding and working knowledge of Django.Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.Experience in working in cross-functional teams is an advantage.Exellent communication skills.
