JOB SUMMARY: Assist Resource Coordinator with recruiting, hiring, orientation, and retention of FNS Staff. Reviews applications, coordinates interviews, completes reference checks, and enters new applicants into ERC system. Coordinates onboarding tasks including FNS orientation, food safety training, and culinary training. Creates and updates FNS orientation program annually and offers orientation as needed to meet the needs of the department. Assists in tracking of professional learning credits for all FNS staff as required by program regulations.

Review current applications for open positions and set up interviews with candidates.

Schedule interviews, complete interviews, and perform reference checks for potential hires per district policy. Complete the hiring process for all new hires in the ERC system. Create and maintain employee files for all FNS staff. Maintain staffing documents to ensure accuracy of staff names, position titles, assigned locations, and daily scheduled hours.

Communicate onboarding tasks and schedule orientation, food safety training, and culinary training for all new staff.

Provide new orientation for staff as needed to meet the needs of the department.
Weekly 10%5.
Track professional standards credits for all FNS staff per program regulations.

Coordinate with Transportation to arrange for required CDOT and new hire paperwork. Follow up as needed for new hires requiring CDL training with the Transportation Department. Assist with staffing of kitchens, staff appreciation, and recognition programs as needed.

Assist Resource Coordinator in planning, marketing, and execution of job fairs and other recruiting events to meet the needs of the department.
Quarterly 5%8.
Create and update all recruiting, employment, and orientation materials as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.

- High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
- Three (3) years of professional work experience

- Previous experience in hiring and training preferred
- K-12 Food and Nutrition experience preferred
