Job Description

Job Summary:

Mazeed is a UAE-based financial management platform that blends modern SaaS software with expert-led Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS) to support SMEs in managing accounting, tax, and financial operations. As we grow, we’re expanding our engineering team with developers who have strong experience building ERP-style modules and business logic using frameworks like Frappe and platforms such as ERPNext. 

Why This Role Matters 

This role is essential to powering core financial capabilities — such as invoicing, bookkeeping, inventory, and asset management — that directly impact both the customer experience and internal service delivery. You'll work on building and extending complex workflows, document structures, and integrations with other product components — enabling a robust and flexible financial engine under the hood. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and build new modules for finance, sales, stock, and reporting workflows 
• Develop document-based logic including validations, triggers, and workflow states 
• Design APIs and background jobs to support integrations with external billing, payment, and customer systems 
• Implement role-based access control, audit trails, and business logic 
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend/backend teams to deliver end-to-end features 
• Contribute to performance tuning, error handling, and data consistency across multi-tenant environments 
• 2–4 years of experience building business applications with Python 
• Solid hands-on experience with Frappe Framework and ERPNext 
• Strong understanding of DocTypes, Workflows, Permissions, and REST APIs 
• Experience working with RDBMS systems (MariaDB or PostgreSQL preferred) 
• Familiarity with multi-user, role-based systems and ERP concepts 
• Bonus: Experience integrating with payment gateways or accounting platforms 

Qualifications

• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud deployment environments (e.g., Frappe Cloud, self-hosted VPS) 
• Complex ERP-style workflows are implemented cleanly and reliably 
• Engineers can extend financial modules without compromising stability 
• Internal and external users rely on well-integrated, automated business processes 
• The system is performant, auditable, and adaptable to evolving product needs
