Senior Project Engineer

An opportunity has become available for a talented Senior Project Engineer to play a key coordination role between the planning, scheduling, engineering and execution teams across our offshore decommissioning project. 

Key Responsibility Areas

• Lead coordination of site works from scoping to execution readiness.
• Travel as required to Offshore Platforms
• Collaborate with planning, scheduling, and engineering teams to manage project phases.
• Ensure compliance with UGL and client HSE policies.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure cohesive project outcomes.
• Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support scope change management and variation procedures.
• Drive innovation across disciplines including piping, structural, electrical, and execution teams.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Structural) or relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience in offshore oil & gas or petrochemical plant projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls (Earned Value, S-Curves, forecasting).
• Skilled in planning, estimating, and working with site-based engineering teams.
• Technically proficient and analytically strong.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
