An opportunity has become available for a talented Senior Project Engineer to play a key coordination role between the planning, scheduling, engineering and execution teams across our offshore decommissioning project.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Lead coordination of site works from scoping to execution readiness.
- Travel as required to Offshore Platforms
- Collaborate with planning, scheduling, and engineering teams to manage project phases.
- Ensure compliance with UGL and client HSE policies.
- Develop and manage project execution plans, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure cohesive project outcomes.
- Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support scope change management and variation procedures.
- Drive innovation across disciplines including piping, structural, electrical, and execution teams.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Structural) or relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in offshore oil & gas or petrochemical plant projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls (Earned Value, S-Curves, forecasting).
- Skilled in planning, estimating, and working with site-based engineering teams.
- Technically proficient and analytically strong.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
