Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Lead revenue growth for a portfolio of Midwest CPG/Food accounts across 25+ Hearst Magazines brands.
  • Cultivate and expand senior-level client and agency relationships to position Hearst as a strategic growth partner.
  • Develop and deliver consultative sales strategies that align with and exceed client KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, research, content, and account management teams to translate client needs into innovative proposals.
  • Leverage expertise across digital direct, programmatic, print, and social platforms to drive effective client solutions.
  • Manage pipeline and forecast revenue in Salesforce, ensuring accurate projections and quota attainment.
  • Provide strategic insights to inform and evolve go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 7+ years of progressive media sales experience with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong existing relationships with Midwest CPG/Food clients and agencies.
  • Strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to consult and influence.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence; able to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach.
  • This role is based in Chicago, IL and follows a hybrid work schedule.

The base salary for this role is between $168,000 - $175,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
