Partner Solutions Engineers (PSE) are part of Akamai's APAC and Japan Pre-sales team. You will work with Channel Managers, Partner Account Executives, services & support teams. Together, you will ensure that partners are well enabled to identify, position, scope & sell Akamai solutions. PSEs tailor & execute Akamai's Partner training strategy for both partner & Akamai's growth.

As a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, you will mentor the partners of the whole sales process. You will be the technical evangelist supporting partners with the adoption of our products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our solutions, helping to close the sale.

As a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Working with partners to accelerate new customer acquisition
• Developing trusted relationships with partners' Technical Sales & Engineering lead
• Supporting partners with technical sales activities, such as value confirmation, education, and delivery
• Conducting training and enablement workshops for a partner's sales, pre-sales, and architect teams
• Customizing resources like sales strategies, market insights, and use cases to generate partner-driven opportunities.
• Collaborating with the Channel Sales team to manage partner progress and success against the enablement plan

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
• Have 5 years experience in a customer/partner facing role such as, technical pre-sales, project management, or consulting
• Have a good understanding of and experience working within a channel go-to-market strategy
• Be able to effectively present complex and technical material to varying audiences virtually and in person
• Demonstrate excellent communication in both Spanish and English, as well as relationship-building skills.
• Have Experience working in cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise, or networking technology is required.
• Have Experience in Internet Technologies such as HTTP, DNS, SSL, and Networking is required
• Have good understanding of security, such as WAAP(WAF), DDoS, Firewall, and VPN, is required
