The Product Manager will lead the development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of cloud and cloud-managed services, spanning both private sovereign cloud and public cloud services (AWS, Azure). This role will focus on driving product innovation, managed services delivery, and commercial success across infrastructure, platform, and managed service offerings.
The Product Manager will have deep knowledge of cloud platforms, managed services, professional services, and experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for cloud solutions in the MENA and GCC markets. They will bridge technical, commercial, and operational teams to deliver competitive, profitable, and compliant cloud services.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Market Positioning:
- Lead the commercialization of private sovereign cloud and multi-cloud (AWS, Azure) solutions from concept to launch and throughout their lifecycle.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and market trends to define product positioning, differentiation, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and partners to align product features and managed services packages with customer needs.
- Define and manage product roadmaps, translating market and customer insights into actionable product development plans.
Managed Services & Solution Development:
- Design and develop managed services offerings layered on cloud platforms (e.g., backup, DR, monitoring, security, DevOps toolchains).
- Define and package professional services offerings to support cloud adoption, migration, optimization, and managed operations.
- Work closely with technical teams to establish SLAs, support models, onboarding processes, and operational KPIs for managed services.
Commercial Model & Pricing:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for cloud infrastructure, managed services, and professional services to drive profitability and competitiveness.
- Create pricing models that balance consumption-based, subscription-based, and project-based billing aligned with customer segments.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to define revenue targets, pricing guardrails, and incentive structures.
Go-To-Market & Sales Enablement:
- Co-develop go-to-market strategies, sales collateral, playbooks, and campaign plans to launch and grow cloud offerings.
- Conduct sales enablement sessions to equip sales teams with knowledge, tools, and positioning to sell cloud and managed services.
- Act as a subject matter expert supporting customer engagements, RFPs, and presales opportunities.
Lifecycle Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor product and service performance (revenue, adoption, churn, profitability) and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement through customer feedback, competitor analysis, and market trends.
- Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure successful onboarding, delivery, and post-launch support for customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, ITIL, or cloud product management are a plus.
- 5+ years of product management experience in cloud services, managed services, or professional services.
- Proven track record of launching and managing cloud-based products or services across public or private cloud environments in MENA or GCC markets.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and private cloud platforms, and ability to translate technical solutions into commercial offerings. • Familiarity with sovereign cloud, compliance, and data residency regulations in the region.
- Experience working with managed services delivery teams and operational support structures.
- Knowledge of cloud sales cycles, RFPs, commercial processes, and value-based selling.
- Excellent communication skills to work across technical and business stakeholders.
