PHP/ WEB Engineer, Fintech

As a PHP/WEB Engineer in Optasia, you will be responsible for developing an maintaining the PHP back-end infrastructure.

What you will do

• Working on a big, multi-layered PHP platform for both client-based projects & internal tools.
• Working as an equal member of a team, contributing with your own ideas & experience.
• Analyzing and modeling new business requirements.
• Developing and maintaining the PHP back-end infrastructure.
• Designing & developing front-end using latest frameworks & libraries.
• Integration with other micro-services and 3rd party systems.
• Translating business and user requirements to workable web applications.
• Assisting with deployment, system configuration & the writing of technical documentation.
• Participating in meetings with the project teams, introduce new technologies that will excel product and boost productivity.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Knowledge of relational database systems.
• Knowledge of JavaScript.
• Excellent knowledge of English language.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
• Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment.

Optional considered as a plus

• Working experience with Object Oriented PHP in web frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of vanilla JavaScript.
• Knowledge of PHP-8 & php-fpm.
• Knowledge of Linux (especially RedHat).
• Knowledge of WebSockets.
• Experience in working with secure code development guidelines and coding practices (i.e. OWASP, NIST)
