About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-savvy CRM Data Specialist to own the maintenance and ongoing accuracy of our Golden Master Customer Record (GMCR) across Salesforce and integrated systems. This individual will play a critical role in sustaining CRM data quality by reviewing and merging duplicate records, aligning accounts to a standardized customer hierarchy, and executing data stewardship practices across global brands and business units. 

This is a foundational role within our Revenue Operations transformation, directly supporting commercial excellence, sales effectiveness, and scalable reporting. Over time, this position will evolve into a key player in ad-hoc CRM data enrichment, segmentation projects, and support for RevTech integrations such as 6Sense and account scoring logic. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Golden Master Customer Record Ownership 
  • Serve as the point person for GMCR maintenance across all CRM environments. 
  • Maintain accurate account hierarchies and customer IDs that reflect legal, billing, and operational relationships. 
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Renewals, Marketing Ops, and Finance) to validate critical account structures. 

Identify, review, and execute CRM account merges based on business rules and source system references (NetSuite, D&B, etc.). 

Ensure all account merges follow auditability protocols and maintain historical CRM and order data integrity. 

Deduplication & Data Hygiene 

Monitor and proactively address accounts and contact duplicates using Salesforce matching rules and external enrichment signals. 

Collaborate with the Data Engineering and IT teams on rule updates, deduplication logic, and tool optimizations. 

  • Track KPIs on duplicate resolution, match confidence, and GMCR data health. 
  • Data Enrichment (Evolution Path) 
  • Support data enrichment activities to enhance account segmentation, firmographics, personas, and industry mappings. 
  • Leverage tools such as D&B, 6Sense, and internal scoring logic to enrich CRM records. 

Identify gaps in customer intelligence and recommend strategies to close them via enrichment workflows or external data providers. 

Governance & Auditability

Document decisions and logic applied during mergers, updates, and enrichment activities for traceability and compliance. 

Participate in monthly data quality reviews and help define metrics for GMCR integrity. 

Support M&A CRM onboarding by applying GMCR matching and deduplication protocols to acquired data sets. 

Required Skills And Competencies:

3+ years of experience in CRM data operations, ideally with exposure to deduplication and account hierarchy management. 

Deep familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a must; experience with Data.com, DemandTools,  or similar deduplication tools is a strong plus. 

Hands-on experience working with or understanding of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and how customer data maps across systems. 

Strong analytical mindset, with comfort in manipulating and validating large data sets using Excel, SQL, or BI tools is an asset. 

Experience with D&B, 6Sense, or similar enrichment providers is an asset. 

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability, process discipline, and a “data as a product” mindset. 

Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration and audit purposes.
