Pump Attendant/Cashier

Hampton's Gas Bar is currently recruiting for a Full Time Pump Attendant/Cashier.

The successful candidate will receive payment from customers or associates for good and services and provide pump island product and service in a courteous, efficient manner within the approved programs, policies and procedures.

Essential Functions Of The Job:

To provide we serve quality of pump and in store service at all times.  Approaching customers for the purpose of providing customer service is the first priority over other duties and a constant maintained.  Customers must never be forced to wait at unattended pumps/propane facilities.

Perform all aspects of filling appropriate fuel into vehicles, storing and maintaining product, and maintaining displays.

Operate a cash register as required in order to provide prompt, accurate, efficient and friendly service to customers.

To be familiar with and adhere to the proper till procedures.

To be responsible for the free flow of merchandise through the checkout counters.

To handle complaints and errors of a minor nature.

To provide information, assistance and service to other customers as required. Customers must always be greeted in a friendly, courteous manner.

Cross train in other departments as required.

Maintain standards of dress code at all times.

Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties.

To attend and participate in training sessions, department meetings as directed by the Gas Bar Manager.

To enforce policy and procedure as directed by the Gas Bar Manager in areas of security, fire prevention, safety and accidents.
