Full Time
TecAlliance interconnects global automotive aftermarket data and knowledge from order to invoice. With over 900 colleagues working relentlessly in 140 countries, we are owned by 34 automotive companies like Bosch, Continental, Rheinmetall, and ZF. We act as an information hub and process facilitator for them, ensuring standardized processes that help clients save costs (process and indirect costs) and time through efficient processes enabled by our software.
Florian Merz is building a new team — Organizational Steering & Development — and we’re looking for someone like you to take ownership of a central project management and portfolio framework — a critical need to boost the effectiveness of TecAlliance’s internal initiatives. In this newly created role, you’ll work closely with project managers, project leads, and stakeholders across the organization to bring structure, transparency, and strategic alignment to how we manage and steer internal projects. Unlike the (legal) framework established by our Governance, Risk & Compliance team, this role focuses on the internal procedural and steering aspects of projects — ensuring that projects are executed effectively and efficiently across the organization.
You will own project governance & portfolio management — meaning:
- Project Governance: You’ll introduce a group-wide project management framework — including tools and templates — and embed it across the business, tailoring it to different maturity levels. You’ll provide guidance, support teams with project challenges, and help build project management capabilities.
- Portfolio Management: You’ll establish a strategic portfolio plan, coordinate project planning across varying stages, and monitor progress, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with Project Leads and Controlling. You’ll define evaluation criteria, decision-making rules, and ensure stakeholders are informed through regular status reports.
Your Profile:
- A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- In-depth experience in designing and implementing a company-wide framework — including the selection of tools, creation of templates, and embedding governance structures across diverse business units.
- Profound experience in project portfolio management, project management, or similar roles.
- Proven ability to manage project portfolios aligned with strategic goals.
- Experience introducing project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall approaches.
- PMP or PfMP certification is a plus.
- Fluency in English; German, Spanish and Dutch are a strong advantage.
Please Note
- that TecAlliance can only consider candidates for employment who are legally authorized to work in a country listed in the job posting, where we have an established legal entity and payroll system. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to hire candidates who require relocation, visa support, or are located outside of that country. Of course you can apply, if you hold a work permit and are willing to / or already moved to the country. Thank you for your understanding.
- that it is not possible to work outside of the country you are applying for. Meaning that, if you apply e.g. for Germany, you must work from within Germany. It is not possible to work from abroad. You can work at any location within the borders of the listed country, unless the job posting specifies a certain City.
The contract title for this role is Project Manager.
