Our team serves as the centralized reporting utility for unclaimed or abandoned property and assets across the firm. 

As a Account Specialist II - Unclaimed Property within the Regulatory Operations Unclaimed Property team, you will be at the forefront of this important work, ensuring that we meet our regulatory obligations while providing exceptional service to our customers and business partners. You will be a part of a vital team that plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with state regulations by reporting and remitting customer property considered abandoned to the appropriate state or territory.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 3 years of working for a financial institution with an emphasis on back office tasks
  • Proficiency with basic computer functions including mouse and keyboard usage, launching applications, conducting searches on the Internet, and maneuvering in a Windows-based environment 
  • Abide by all applicable regulatory and department practices and procedures
  • Approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn rapidly.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • Possess an understanding of banking regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn rapidly.
  • Capable of performing effectively with minimal management oversight.

Work Schedule:

This role is hybrid in office, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is located in San Antonio, TX only. It does not offer relocation assistance or immigration sponsorship.
