Line Cook II Smash Burger - On Call (Harrah's Laughlin)

The essential job function is to be able to properly cook a variety of foods, set forth by Smashburger SOP`s and Harrahs standards.  Ensure that each guests receives outstanding service by providing a SMASHTASTIC environment while processing orders quickly , timely and efficiently following and adhering to the Health Department guidelines.

Qualifications:

Prepare and cooks food according to Smashburger prep, menu and recipe standards. Maintain awareness of all menu items. Check orders for accuracy and proper portion control. Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters and work areas at all times. These standards are set forth by the SNHD , Harrahs Laughlin and SNHD. Foster a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines, follow all guidelines set forth by Smashburger and Harrahs Laughlin. Complete any other tasks assigned from time to time by the Management team of Harrahs Laughlin. Must be able to understand and respond to written recipes and directions in English; work a minimum of 8 hours with appropriate mobility and endurance;  work flexible time periods as required. The ability to use and recognize kitchen equipment ; use knives, other hand-held instruments and other food  preparation equipment; sense of urgency to serve customers properly; work unsupervised; assist other cooks in a team environment; portion, prepare and present all recipes and plate presentations built in the standard SOP binder.
