What You'Ll Do?

• Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems that support advanced safety technologies
• Create and optimize mechanical designs using CAD tools (CATIA)
• Uses PLM to manage data and workflows (eg. PTC Windchill)
• Apply GD&T and performs tolerance analysis to ensure manufacturability and reliability
• Propose test plan for design validation
• Contribute to requirement definitions aligned with Veoneer, customer, and international standards
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including DFMEA, BOMs, and design reviews
• Collaborate with manufacturing, HW, component and quality teams to ensure robust product performance
• Perform design/debug investigations and support development, maintenance, failure analysis, and resolution activities
• Participate and/or Lead the Design Reviews of the ECU

What You'Ll Bring:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Experience with PLM platforms
• Strong problem solving and hands-on debugging skills with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques
• Strong communication skills required, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms
• Creativity in helping to drive technology into our company
• Self-driven attitude and a proactive approach in completing tasks
• Design experience in analog/digital electronic circuits for automotive application
• Proficiency in CAD tools
• Fluent in English
• Experience with the following tools: Catia V5, PTC Windchill, 3D printer (preferred, not mandatory)
