Wood is recruiting for Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane on a permanent basis.
Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.
The Role
Location: Lytton Refinery, site based
This role is to provide electrical support for all electrical and instrumentation scope of work across site with the maintenance team.

Wood’s “Operations” APAC East business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers located in Brisbane, Queensland.
- Deliver high quality and consistent electrical and instrument installations in accordance with site and job requirements, standards and procedures
- Ensure scope of works completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
- Effective fault finding and problem-solving skills
- If required, work necessary hours to complete or meet site and project scope of works.
- Experience working within a brownfield environment, preferably in the oil & gas and/or other related industries
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- Certificate III Instrumentation
- Certificate IV Hazardous Areas
- Electrical Mechanical License
- Valid Construction White Card
- Perform rescue from live panel
- Provide CPR
