Events Planner - The Manchester Deansgate Hotel

As an Events Planner (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties…

• Take ownership of events from contract signing to execution, ensuring all details meet client expectations and hotel standards (experience in 4 or 5 hotels or high-end venues preferred*).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through phone, email, and face-to-face contact (strong communication and client management skills required).
• Coordinate event logistics including catering, AV, and room setups whilst maximising hotel facilities and revenue (experience in event planning or operations essential).
• Prepare accurate confirmations and internal briefings with attention to detail (high accuracy and organisational skills needed).
• Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure seamless event delivery (you will be a strong team player, happy to support where needed).
• Proactively manage and resolve client issues (problem-solving and guest care skills essential).
• Work mainly Monday–Friday, with some evenings/weekends as required (overtime paid) (flexibility and time management skills beneficial).Typically this role will work a Monday-Friday office hours schedule with additional evenings/weekends as required due to the nature of the business
