HWI has a fantastic opportunity to join our Quality Team as a Facility Quality Assurance Technician II.
Summary
The Facility Quality Assurance Technician II is responsible for performing a variety of product and assembly quality inspections according to company standards, and customer specifications. The Facility Quality Assurance Technician II verifies that quality procedures are followed and maintains proper documentation.
Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of product and assembly quality inspections at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards
- Performing internal quality plan to ensure ISO 9001 compliance
- Recording and analyzing statistical data to validate or show deviations from existing standards
- Providing a root cause analysis on non-conformance investigations and assisting in regulatory and customer audits
- Preparing certificate of analysis for customer order
- Maintaining testing and analysis equipment
Requirements
- Requires High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Requires computer operation skills including, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD and Oracle ERP
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards Quality Management Systems
- Ability to read and understand Blueprints or Technical Drawings, ISO and Industry associated standards and test instructions
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Physical Activity: Requires 1/3 to 2/3 of time talking and hearing, standing, sitting, and using hands/fingers or handle and/or feel; less than 1/3 of time walking, tasting or smelling, reaching with arms and hands, and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
- Lifting: Requires lifting up to 50 pounds less than 1/3 of time.
- Vision: Requires accurate close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Environment: Requires 1/3 to 2/3 of time working in an office setting with very limited exposure; less than 1/3 of time working in wet or humid conditions, exposed to outdoor weather conditions, working near moving mechanical parts, exposed to fumes or airborne particles and exposed to vibration.
- Noise: Requires exposure to moderate noise
