Description

 General Summary of Duties: The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) will maintain frequent oversight of the day-to-day operations of each prospective and operating location in FL, NJ and PA, providing strong leadership to all of LUV Car Wash Operational District, and General Managers. The RDO will be responsible for the operational and financial success of the washes in their region and will oversee the standardization and optimization of the company’s daily operating performance. The RDO will ensure the LUV Car Wash team members deliver the highest quality guest experience through developed processes and procedures, as well as successful training.

  • Reports to:  VP of Operations
  • Supervises: District and General Managers

FLSA Status: Exempt

Physical Demands: The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly, respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, see clearly and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds or more, work in extreme weather, and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.

Essential Functions:

  1. Build and lead the LUV Car Wash location-level operations team to successfully meet all quality standards and financial targets
  2. Maintain ultimate responsibility for all new location operational opening logistics, including staffing, training, establishment of standardized LUV policies and procedures
  3. Oversee the operational integration of locations that have been acquired. This includes working with various functional team leaders such as HR, Finance, Accounting, and the corporate ops team
  4. Work with VP of Ops,  CEO/CDO, and other operationally focused team members to establish departmental metrics that ensure quality control, efficiency, and profitability.
  5. Strong financial experience in understanding unit economics for individual locations and the region. The ability to read and analyze a profit and loss statement is a must
  6. Monitor the productivity and efficiency of each location.
  7. Establish and continuously update and improve workflows, documents, and reporting related to process, regulatory, and compliance changes
  8. Maintain ultimate responsibility for performance and adherence to operating budgets
  9. Perform other duties as requested or needed

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

 Experience:  Minimum of eight (8) years of management experience required. Management in the car wash industry a must. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Passionate about creating genuine connections with team members and providing excellent customer service
  • Established track record of generating superior results through oversight of multi-unit management in car wash and/or equivalent industry operations
  • Operates in a mindset of delivering consistent and exceptional guest service to external guests
  • Strong background in establishing and executing policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in an efficient and effective manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to travel as needed
