We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director managing the full lifecycle of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, processing dividend, distribution, and coupon payments, and handling proxy voting in the German market. Additionally, the person in this role will manage production support, perform supervisory checks, compile management reporting, offer project support, ensure regulatory reporting, and serve as the interface and contact point for internal and external queries.
This is a Director position, within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What will you be doing?
- Coverage of full lifecycle of German voluntary and mandatory corporate actions including
- event research of local market sources and translation into English language for onward information provision to clients
- deadlines processing at corresponding German agent banks / in agent system
- outturn/payment processing including reconciliation and break resolution
- preparation of corresponding regulatory reporting AWV Z10
- Coverage of full lifecycle of non-German voluntary and mandatory corporate actions as per ICSD information
- Processing of German and non-German dividend, distribution and coupon payments including
- Annual General Meetings of German and non-German companies
- Outsourcing Supervision in Brexit context
- Cooperation and Collaboration with Global Asset Servicing teams of Morgan Stanley & Local Teams
- Reconciliation and Break Clearance
- Monthly Regulatory Reporting Obligations
- Continuous Improvement of Processes (RTB and CTB)
- research information provision to clients
- deadline and payment processing including reconciliation and break resolution
- reconciliation and payment of agent and client positions/pending trades
- withholding of tax as stipulated by OGAW IV
- preparation of regulatory reporting AWV Z11
- proxy voting management
- arrangement of attendance for clients
What you’ll bring in the role:
- Educated to a degree or equivalent academic level
- Experience of working in one or more of the following Operational processes is preferred - Asset Services, Securities Settlements
- Experience in supervision of a global Bank / Broker Dealer
- Knowledge of regulations for Banks and Broker Dealer in Germany
- Knowledge of operational functions and processes of a broker dealer
- Cross product knowledge
- Focus on risk and displays the ability to react quickly to issues and see them through to conclusion
- Language skills: fluent in written & spoken English is required
- Language skills: fluent in written & spoken German is preferred
- Strong general management skills and stakeholder management skills
- Sound interpersonal skills, freely develops networks, builds consensus and develops alliances across the organization
- Strong confident communicator (written and oral)
