Quality Assurance Engineer

Purpose of the role 

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our technology products.

Key Priorities

• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts (manual & automated).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, track, and report software defects and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure testability and quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimise coverage.
• Use tools like Selenium, Playwright, and other frameworks consistently.
• Analyse results and provide clear test reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and standards.
• Support risk management, compliance, and workplace safety practices.

About You Experience & Knowledge:

• ISTQB or other QA certification (preferred).
• 3+ years’ experience as a QA Engineer with manual and automated testing.
• Knowledge of testing technologies, patterns, and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and release management.
• Skills in .Net, C#, SQL, Visual Studio, and Postman (desirable).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering great user experiences.
• Proactive, adaptable, and effective in a small, fast-paced team.
• Passion for continuous improvement and learning.

Ways Of Working

Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.

• Sippy Downs & Fortitude Valley:
• This role can be based at either our Headquarters in Sippy Downs or our Fortitude Valley office.
