Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs and interests of seniors with memory care challenges
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating daily, weekly, and special events to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical activity
• Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages participation and enhances residents' quality of life
• Collaborate with caregiving staff to monitor residents’ responses to activities and adjust plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation
• Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity through personalized engagement
• Promote a positive, respectful atmosphere that values each resident’s unique personality and history

Skills And Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with seniors, particularly those with dementia or memory care needs, is preferred
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Creativity and enthusiasm for designing engaging activities
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of dementia and memory care best practices is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in activity planning or senior care are advantageous
