Senior Investment Management Specialist - Remote

Investment Management at Mutual of Omaha is looking to hire a Senior Investment Management Specialist. This is a key emerging role on the Portfolio Strategies team that will allow for growth and opportunity at a dynamic and multi-faceted company with a great culture.

• Estimated Salary: $140,000-$150,000.

What You'Ll Do:

• Act as the liaison between Investment Management and Finance for annual planning, variance reporting, and performance analysis.
• Help coordinate capital management initiatives by aligning asset budgets with corporate objectives and product strategies.
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure investment operations support the company’s financial strength and profitability. 

What You’Ll Bring:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) of investment activity within a life insurance company.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• A collaborative mindset and proven ability to influence decisions across departments.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement. 
• You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
• Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required; advanced degree, CFA, or CPA designation preferred.
• Expertise in asset allocation, capital budgeting, and financial forecasting within a corporate or institutional setting.
