Description
Sr. Construction Project Manager
As Sr. CPM, you will oversee multiple large, complex construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities include project planning and scheduling, budget and cost control, team leadership and management, stakeholder communication, risk management, site supervision, and ensuring safety and compliance. They manage project teams, coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and serve as the main point of contact for clients.
Major Responsibilities
Project Oversight:
· Manage and control budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for multiple projects simultaneously.
Team Leadership:
· Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and other professionals, providing direction and support.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on progress and addressing concerns.
Financial Management:
· Oversee project finances, including verifying payments, managing contracts, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for projects.
Quality & Safety:
· Ensure all construction work adheres to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory safety requirements.
Risk Management:
· Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for project-related risks and issues.
Contract Administration:
· Review and administer contracts with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Construction technology, Engineering or other related discipline and 10-12 years relevant experience.
- Past experience in Operations with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with contract values of $ 10 million and up.
- Functional experience in multiple disciplines including, project management, estimating, preconstruction services, and construction management.
- Functional experience in the sales and marketing process including making presentations to potential customers.
- Professional Licenses a plus.
- Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business plan objectives.
- Ability to travel as necessary.
- Physical ability to review progress at construction sites.
- Physical ability to make presentations.
