About The Job
LexisNexis Key Account Manager is responsible for both managing the relationships with an assigned set of current key customers and targeting and selling LexisNexis services to prospective clients within their portfolio by upselling and cross selling. The role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can engage with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders to deliver exceptional value. The Key Account Manager is expected to achieve high renewal rates and targeted revenue growth by cross selling other LexisNexis Services in maintening strong professional relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Work to a plan to achieve renewal targets and identify then pursue additional sales from managed customers by cultivating new business opportunities within existing accounts, leveraging a consultative approach to deepen partnerships and drive double and triple-digit growth.
- Executive Engagement: Build and maintain relationships at the highest levels within client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader by conducting regular business reviews, to discuss their use of service and to discover how LexisNexis can provide more value
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs, providing valuable insights that influence client strategies and enhance their decision-making processes.
- High-Impact Engagement: Maintain a proactive presence through tailored communication strategies, including in-person visits, to ensure high-quality engagement with senior clients.
- CRM Mastery: Utilize Salesforce.com to effectively manage client interactions, track engagement, and analyse data for strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead collaboration across global teams to align services and support client needs, driving organizational synergy.
- Collaborate with all necessary LexisNexis departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Build a strong sales pipeline from both marketing-generated and self-generated prospective opportunities
- Conduct value-oriented discussions with prospects to understand their business needs and translate that in to how the LexisNexis product can meet those needs
- Demonstrate or present various LexisNexis products to prospective customers to illustrate product capabilities and identify the matches to clients’ business needs
- Negotiate and execute customer contracts that meet both LexisNexis and customer needs
- Provide accurate new and long-term pipeline and sales forecasts, based on candid and well-documented reviews of past and predicted sales activities in Sales Force and GONG
- Operate and update CRM with sales and opportunity activity as per LexisNexis requirement
- Utilise as per LexisNexis policy all relevant internal systems relating to job specification
- Provide LexisNexis management with constructive customer feedback to assist in product enhancements, marketing and data strategies

- Ability to travel in Europe as required by the business needs
Good Organizational Skills
Desirable Skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant industry experience will be considered.
- Extensive experience in a consultative sales role, preferably in license-based subscription services.
- Proven experience managing complex sales cycles with high-value clients, achieving high annual revenue targets
- Presentation skills for both LexisNexis and customer facing meetings
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Fluency in French, English and Dutch
