Responsibilities
•    Provide career ladder and tuition assistance services to union members at health care worksites
•    Research potential educational providers in region and determine their capacity to provide quality educational programs
•    Develop organizational relationship with vendors to promote Fund entity and build partnerships
•    Work with vendors to design flexible training programs and clinicals that are accessible to working adults; also negotiate training contracts with education vendors
•    Evaluate instructors and training programs for quality and cost effectiveness. Manage all grant funded initiatives in region
•    Case-manage tuition assistance students so that participants are aware of all program deadlines; information needed to complete the application process, and other information regarding their application for benefits
•    Coordinate the marketing, recruitment, admissions, counseling, and member services activities for tuition assistance enrollment at participating worksites
•    Establish and cultivate relationships with key union and management representatives at assigned worksites
•    Schedule regular labor-management meetings and ensure participation by key management and union representatives
•    Develop & implement assessment process to guide labor-management committees to identify labor and skill shortages at their institutions
•    Develop student selection processes for enrollment in Fund sponsored skills training programs
•    Work within labor/management context to develop site-based operations that best support employees accessing services
•    Manage political complexity of labor-management relationships to ensure smooth functioning of Fund related business
•    Assist with MA Fund publications, special events such as completion ceremonies and the MA Fund recognition event
•    Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or equivalent years of work experience required
•    Minimum five (5) years’ experience in workforce development, higher education, training, career counseling, or labor management programs required
•    Basic skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
•    Knowledge of adult education principles and best practices
•    Knowledge of career and educational pathways and degree programs in the health care field
•    Demonstrated accomplishment and experience in designing, planning, implementing and evaluating education and training programs
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills
•    Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
•    Strong attention to details and ability to work independently
•    Must have a car and ability to travel throughout Massachusetts
•    Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends required
