This is a full-time, direct placement role at David J Ewan.

Location: Knoxville or Oak Ridge, TN

Your Role:

• Lead preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Guide tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
• Oversee junior staff/bookkeepers (future role expansion) and ensure adherence to firm standards
• Use QuickBooks (online & desktop), Microsoft tools, and other software to streamline workflows
• Maintain client relationships with a consultative approach

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with significant tax experience
• Expertise in tax planning, compliance, and software like QuickBooks and Microsoft tools
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
