A well-established lifestyle brand is seeking a detail-oriented Finance and Admin Support Officer to join their remote team. This role involves managing financial records, supporting executive operations, and ensuring accurate reporting using NetSuite. Ideal for candidates with strong bookkeeping experience and familiarity with Australian accounting standards.

Bookkeeping & Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Ensure all financial records are entered into NetSuite accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and balance sheets.
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Complete month-end and year-end financial reports.

Support Functions

  • Assist the Financial Controller in Australia with various accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Provide executive support to the Managing Director, including email management and meeting scheduling.

Note:  The official title of this role is Bookkeeper.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite is essential for this role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
