Holy Name Catholic School is seeking a qualified, committed candidate for the position of Director of Enrollment. Under the direction of the Principal, the Director of Enrollment supports Holy Name Catholic School in their local recruitment, enrollment and retention efforts. The Director of Enrollment  uses Archdiocesan-wide assessment methods and practices to document and address the needs of schools in order to ensure an effective and comprehensive approach to recruitment and to drive retention and enrollment initiatives at the local level. 

Essential Functions:

Position Overview/Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and enroll prospective students and retain current families. The role requires working closely with school leadership, faculty, and staff to meet enrollment goals and ensure a positive admissions experience. The role requires ensuring all student files are up to date and meet school requirements and the requirements of TCCB. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a public relations program to promote Catholic education and Our Lady of Grace Catholic School within area churches and community organizations
  • Recruit and guide families through the admissions process to increase enrollment
  • Serve as ESA Liaison for Our Lady of Grace to assist prospective families with Education Savings accounts
  • Support the principal in developing strategic growth plans and facility expansions to accommodate increasing student enrollment.
  • Organize and oversee the admissions process for all prospective families including student tours, open houses, and community events
  • Organize and oversee retention efforts and activities for current families
  • Assist families with enrollment inquiries, manage data entry in the FACTS database, and generate regular reports
  • Track and analyze enrollment and class data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare recruitment and retention materials such as mailings, invitations, slide shows, videos, and social media content
  • Serve as a visible community liaison and active leader in the local community
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for all
  • Support the principal with projects aimed at increasing enrollment and other administrative needs
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive school matters
  • Develop and manage content and campaigns for social media platforms, email marketing, and the school website
  • Update and maintain the school website regularly
  • Plan and supervise on-campus recruitment activities including gatherings, games, summer camps, and evening events
  • Assist the Principal with marketing efforts and campaigns school wide.
  • Plan and supervise off-campus recruitment activities including gatherings, games, summer camps, community recruitment events, open houses, and evening events
  • Partner with enrollment coordinators and directors across campuses, including high schools, to seamlessly prepare 8th-grade graduates for their transition to high school, and collaborate on ESA preparations and best practices.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts alongside the principal
  • Attend professional development training to stay current in best practices
  • Coordinate interviews, campus tours, and shadow days for prospective students and current students as they prepare for high school
  • Collaborate with catholic high schools regarding student records and preparations for high school acceptance
  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective students and families
  • Foster strong connections with alumni and utilize their networks for recruitment
  • Collaborate on creating engaging recruitment materials and communications
  • Support family communications, school news, and announcements
  • Assist with annual updates to campus handbooks
  • Keep school community, PTC, and School Advisory Board members informed in recruitment efforts
  • Promote collegiality, teamwork, and uphold the philosophy and mission of Catholic education
  • Model Gospel values and the teachings of the Catholic Church in all interactions
  • Comply with school and Archdiocesan policies, including Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees

Requirements

Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:

Education And Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree recommended 
  • Background in Social Media, Communication, and Administration highly preferred
  • Strong managerial and interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help families
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish/English)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Availability to work some evenings and weekends as needed
  • Commitment to working a full school day
