About Our Group:
Our Inventory team works with many departments like Production, Engineering, Logistics, Planning, and Purchasing to manage inventory and supply chain activities. We help make sure the right parts are available at the right time. We also support BOM (Bill of Materials) and part setup, which helps with finance and costing setup. This role may involve cross-functional collaboration and occasional support for special projects.
About The Role - You Will:
- Work with Production, Engineering, Logistics, Planning, Purchasing, and other related teams to support inventory and supply chain activities.
- Manage inventory levels to help meet company targets.
- Lead physical inventory (PI) checks and ensure accuracy.
- Organize and monitor cycle count activities.
- Check BOM (Bill of Materials) and inventory transactions for correctness.
- Audit goods receipt records by comparing them with purchase orders or invoices. Monitor and report any rejected items, reversal actions, or voided transactions.
- Record and track items that are shipped out.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals.
- Review stock levels and support material distribution to inventory storage or production lines.
- Create reports and analyze data related to material movement.
- Support ad-hoc requests such as reports, queries, or file preparation.
- Use inventory systems to track and validate reversal or void transactions.
- Use inventory management systems (SAP) to track and update stock data.
- Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies in goods receipt.
- Identify and help resolve inventory discrepancies or process issues.

Your Experience Includes:
- Driving inventory accuracy improvements through proactive analysis and corrective actions.
- Applying problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and streamline inventory processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and experience using them for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Working in fast-paced manufacturing environments, preferably electronics or similar industries.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance material flow and reduce stock variances.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory control and reduce waste.
- Understanding of supply chain fundamentals and their impact on production efficiency.
- Familiarity with the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Focusing on customer expectations and driving actions to meet them.
- Using inventory systems to monitor transactions and ensure data accuracy.
- Leveraging data analysis tools (Excel or similar) to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to understand existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and contribute to drafting, suggesting, and developing new process flows and SOPs to enhance operational control and efficiency.
- Analyzing inventory data and generating reports to support decision-making.
- Supporting or mentoring junior staff in inventory-related tasks.
You Might Also Have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MS Access, SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), or Crystal Reports.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of supply chain metrics and KPIs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or electronics environment.
- Comfort with handling large datasets and performing basic data validation or cleanup.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles such as FIFO, safety stock, and lead time.
