• Now Hiring:  Diesel Mechanic II (Evening Shift) 
• Location: Elk River, MNJob Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
• Pay Range: $30-$32+ Shift Differential, DOQEvening Shift: Full time shift: 3:30pm-12am, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime. 
•                            Part-time shift: 20-30 hours a week.

Plaisted Companies is seeking a skilled, heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic to join our evening shift team. If you have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and are looking for a stable, rewarding career, we want to hear from you!

What You’Ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment
• Perform routine services like oil changes, brake repairs, and tire maintenance
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
• Perform test drives and service calls for emergency breakdowns as needed.
• Keep maintenance records and work in a clean, organized environment

What We’Re Looking For:

Experience: Minimum 3 years as a diesel mechanic 

• Certifications: AAS Diesel Technician
• Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• License: CDL (preferred but not required)
• Availability: Must be available to work evenings and occasional overtime

Requirements

• Able to pass a 5 Panel Drug Test (urinalysis)
• Able to pass a back and extremity medical exam
• Own your own tools
• *Prior Diesel Mechanic experience is required*
