Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Windows desktop support, including installation, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.
- Configure, monitor, and diagnose Windows-based networks, including servers, switches, and related equipment.
- Perform fiber splicing and copper network installations, ensuring proper connectivity and system reliability.
- Support and secure Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Implement and monitor cloud and network security best practices.
- Install, configure, and maintain access control systems and security cameras.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to plan, execute, and document IT infrastructure projects.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and asset inventories.
- Respond to system outages, security incidents, and technical issues with a sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 3+ years of experience in IT/network support or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and network configuration.
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing and copper cabling installations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and security features.
- Familiarity with access control systems and video surveillance technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure/365 Administrator).
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-security environments.
- Knowledge of NIST, CMMC, or other compliance frameworks.
