Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Windows desktop support, including installation, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.
  • Configure, monitor, and diagnose Windows-based networks, including servers, switches, and related equipment.
  • Perform fiber splicing and copper network installations, ensuring proper connectivity and system reliability.
  • Support and secure Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Implement and monitor cloud and network security best practices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain access control systems and security cameras.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to plan, execute, and document IT infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and asset inventories.
  • Respond to system outages, security incidents, and technical issues with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in IT/network support or engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and network configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with fiber splicing and copper cabling installations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and security features.
  • Familiarity with access control systems and video surveillance technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure/365 Administrator).
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-security environments.
  • Knowledge of NIST, CMMC, or other compliance frameworks.
