About The Role
Following the continued success and growing scope of our Enterprise Resilience program, we’re now looking to appoint a dedicated Senior Manager to help lead and evolve our resilience capability. This is a senior role responsible for driving the operational resilience agenda under CPS 230 and embedding it across Allianz Australia's critical operations. You’ll lead strategic initiatives across Business Continuity and Crisis & Incident Management, oversee lifecycle resilience activities, and ensure resilience risks are actively managed within appetite. As a key partner to the General Manager, you’ll help shape team practices, lead reporting and governance, and work closely with Cyber, IT, Risk, and the Business to ensure resilience is integrated into decision-making and response. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide resilience outcomes and contribute to a high-performing, purpose-driven team.
- Lead the operational resilience, embedding regulatory requirements into business-as-usual processes, reporting, and governance.
- Shape and execute the enterprise resilience strategy across Business Continuity and Crisis & Incident Management, aligned to Allianz Group and APRA standards.
- Oversee lifecycle resilience activities including BIAs, risk assessments, testing, training, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate resilience reporting across dashboards, risk updates, and governance forums, ensuring insights are timely, actionable, and aligned to APRA CPS 230 and Allianz Group standards.
- Embed operational resilience principles across all resilience practices, and partner closely with Cyber, IT, Third Party Risk Management, Risk, and the Business to ensure alignment and integration into decision-making, exercises, and real-time response.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and capability uplift to embed a resilience culture and ensure ongoing alignment with CPS 230 and broader resilience obligations.
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve team processes and practices across all resilience domains, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with CPS 230, Allianz Group standards, and evolving business needs.
- Manage resilience risks across the Enterprise Resilience portfolio, ensuring operational resilience obligations are reflected in risk profiles, controls, and reporting, and that risks are actively monitored, escalated, and kept within approved appetite.
- Support the General Manager, Enterprise Resilience with providing leadership coverage, mentoring team members, supporting budgeting and financial management, and driving productivity initiatives across the function.
- Support external engagement and benchmarking activities by monitoring industry developments, contributing to regulatory responses, and representing Enterprise Resilience in delegated forums or working groups.
