Licensed Practical Nurse/Paramedic - Urgent Care - Full-time

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Paramedic will assist with the operations of the Urgent Care to ensure efficient patient processes. These include rooming, collecting essential data, documenting key exam elements for the providers, enter orders, prescriptions, and assist with disposition and discharge information. This position will collaborate with current UC staff for a team approach that demonstrates patient-centered care.  Skills/Procedures are; laceration repairs, lesion removals, dressing changes, splint applications, vaccinations, other supportive nursing services and various clerical duties.

Experience: Prior clinical/acute care experience preferred.

 Certifications: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, with a current WI license, or Paramedic with current license. CPR certified required.

Shift: Working 30 hours a week, 12 hours shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.), every third weekend.
