Strategic Leadership & Innovation

• Define and lead ORBCOMM’s AI strategy, focusing on breakthrough initiatives that reshape customer experiences and operational efficiency.
• Drive innovation in AI/ML across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI), ensuring flexibility, scalability, and resilience.
• Identify emerging AI technologies and trends with potential to disrupt and elevate ORBCOMM’s offerings.
• Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and rapid prototyping across global teams.

Customer-Centric Value Delivery

• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to translate customer needs into AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure AI initiatives deliver tangible business outcomes—enhanced automation, predictive insights, and operational intelligence.
• Serve as a trusted technology advisor to strategic customers and partners.

Execution Excellence

• Build and lead cross-functional teams to execute AI programs from concept to deployment.
• Oversee architecture, development, and integration of AI models into ORBCOMM’s platforms and services.
• Establish KPIs and governance frameworks to ensure quality, scalability, and compliance.

Global Collaboration & Influence

• Partner with global R&D, engineering, and innovation hubs to accelerate AI adoption.
• Represent ORBCOMM in industry forums, academic partnerships, and thought leadership platforms.
• Foster strategic alliances with AI startups, research institutions, and cloud providers.

Leadership & Culture

• Inspire and influence teams through authentic leadership, vision clarity, and a commitment to excellence.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
• Mentor emerging leaders and foster cross-functional collaboration across geographies.

Who You Are:

• Proven track record in leading AI/ML initiatives at scale, ideally in IoT, logistics, or industrial tech sectors.
• 15+ years in technology leadership roles, with deep expertise in AI, data science, and software engineering.
• Experience architecting and deploying AI solutions in multi-cloud environments.
• Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
• Experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
