The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
Due to an internal secondment opportunity we now looking to recruit a Procurement Governance Lead, to join or procurement team for an 18th month fixed term contract. This is a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of procurement governance frameworks, policies, and practices. This role ensures sourcing and procurement activities are conducted in a transparent, compliant, and ethical manner, and align with both internal policies and external regulatory obligations.
Reporting to the Procurement Governance Manager, the Governance Lead provides operational support and expert advice to internal stakeholders across all stages of the procurement lifecycle, with a strong focus on probity, sustainability, and risk management
About You
You’re an experienced procurement professional with at least 5 years in strategic procurement, governance, and process improvement. You bring strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, and are confident navigating policy, compliance, and risk. You’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in dynamic environments. Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba), MS Office, and tools like Visio is essential. Qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, or similar are highly regarded.
