The Role

Crown Sydney is looking for a F&B Systems Administrator to assist the Food & Beverage Systems Senior Specialist and Inventory Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of the F&B Systems. This role is key in supporting all POS and Peoplesoft compliance, data base management and systems processes. In this role, you’ll be responsible for all linkages with consumer products to ensure decrementing of inventory, as well as producing timely reports for Operations to review product sales, consumption and trends.

Working alongside the Food & Beverage Systems Senior Specialist, you’ll also play a key part in F&B Administration – including day-to-day system requests, delivery and process improvement, whilst developing and administering systems training for F&B Operations. Ideally you’ll have demonstrated experience with Micros, Opera, Seven Rooms, TM1 & ad hoc Report and Analytics.

Some of the key responsibilities will involve:

  • Creating new revenue centres in the point of sale system, in liaison with Crown IT, and ensure necessary communication is established with the required information systems
  • Assisting the Senior Specialist and Crown IT during the deployment of new revenue centres to ensure that the point of sale system is functioning correctly and in accordance with the business requirements
  • Identifying and implementing efficient POS system screen designs/layouts and functionality as required
  • Preparing and sending weekly Open Beverage and Inter Department Transfer (IDT) reports to all Crown F&B Outlets
  • Ensuring POS system integrity is maintained by adhering to set policies for any changes to the system
  • Monitoring inter-departmental transfers, requisitions, and credits
  • Assisting with auditing counts and provide support during stock takes
  • Ensuring the F&B Cost Control team are aware of upcoming, major F&B price or menu changes
  • Generating variance reports and enter adjustments into PeopleSoft
  • Advising and assisting with POS training during new revenue centre start-up

You’Ll Have:

  • Knowledge of the Micros Point of Sale and Opera System
  • Extensive customer service experience, ideally in a Food & Beverage environment
  • Demonstrated experience in operational management
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Demonstrated aptitude for data management and analysis
  • Excellent/Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular Excel and SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict timelines
