Job Description

Are you an experienced AML professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and client-focused organisation? We’re seeking a detail-orientated and proactive AML Compliance Analyst to join our corporate compliance team, supporting our Auckland real estate brokerage and management businesses.

This part-time role (15 - 20 hours a week) is based in our Auckland CBD office, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a passionate team committed to excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

As our AML Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring ongoing compliance with AML/CFT laws and other relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising the workflow management platform to conduct CDD processes.
  • Reviewing and assessing compliance and onboarding checks.
  • Following up with or qualifying with clients any missing or adverse information.
  • Monitoring transactions and managing CDD/ECDD processes.
  • Assessing Source of Wealth/Source of Funds documentation for adequacy under the AML/CFT Act.
  • Responding to AML-related queries from brokers and clients.
  • Conducting quality assurance testing and maintaining AML/CFT records and registers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a compliance, risk, or AML environment - ideally within the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulatory obligations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A professional and personable manner, with a positive attitude and the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or law is desirable but not essential.
