We are evolving as a business and are adding some exciting new brands and concepts to our venues and digital offering. By joining an office-based or operational function with us, you’ll instantly be part of a high-performing and inclusive culture, which works closely to support our Customer-facing teams.
The role holder provides digital and network operations centre support across our digital platform together with our retail venues, offices and datacentres with particular attention to managing events from the various monitoring tools.
Qualifications
Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Oversee NOC Team operations for venues, offices and digital businesses
- Ensure NOC monitoring tools and metrics are updated accordingly with business priorities.
- Train, mentor and coordinate NOC engineers to quickly adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Ensure all NOC engineers follow incidents SLAs accordingly.
- Take ownership of critical incidents according to the incident management process to quickly contact and involve any necessary parties for immediate mitigation or fix actions.
- Develop and enhance procedures to be used within the NOC by documenting troubleshooting strategies.
- Build positive and constructive relations with internal and external teams.
- Review critical incidents with internal and external teams to understand if additional actions are required for the troubleshooting and escalation process.
- Attend leading meetings for digital and retail platforms always with an eye for improvement.
- Work with each NOC engineer a certification career path towards our platform technologies.
- Liaise, as required and directed, with the Operational Security Centre team that are responsible for working side-by-side with the NOC, their focus being primarily the identification and management or security incidents.
Experience & Qualifications
Required:
- 3- years’ experience in an IT support environment
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to self-improvement and continuous learning.
- Strong attention to details
- Highly effective time management skills
- Ability to learn skills and support new technologies
- Understanding Digital and Retail environments
- Understand routers, switches and firewalls technologies
- Understanding of ITIL framework
- Good Planning and Organisational Skills
- Able to operate proactively with minimal supervision
- Able to operate under stressful conditions
- Able to manage Time and Priorities effectively
Beneficial:
- Industry-relevant qualification (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS)
- Relevant degree qualification
- A good understanding of Solarwinds, Meraki, New Relic
