The salary range for this position is $104,500 - 118,250. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We are looking for an analytical, action-oriented, and collaborative individual to support the development and execution of hassle-free, customer-friendly return policies that increase loyalty and repeat purchases while optimizing cost and efficiency across Wayfair’s supply chain.

- Our Version of Free Returns: Strategically test and launch free return policies in high-impact areas to maximize customer retention and satisfaction.
- Reimagined Return Policy: Refresh and harmonize customer and supplier-facing return policies for consistency, fairness, and transparency across all touchpoints.
Together, we aim to improve returns economics and deliver customer friendly policies.
What You'Ll Do
- Drive process improvement by partnering with key cross-functional teams in operations, customer experience, technology and finance, leveraging strong communication skills to identify pain points, streamline workflows, and uncover opportunities to implement tech-enabled solutions that improve scalability.
- Enable data-driven decision-making by building and managing large datasets that power dashboards, provide visibility into initiative progress, and deliver actionable insights with measurable business impact.
- Conduct and present ad-hoc analyses that translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations for broad audiences.
- Shape strategy and prioritization by contributing to road mapping and program evolution by conducting opportunity sizing, quantifying return economics, and supporting thoughtful prioritization of initiatives.
- Design and implement sustainable, long-term performance management practices to measure, assess, and grow business outcomes.
What You'Ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI); familiarity with Python is a plus
- Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Comfort with ambiguity and a growth mindset, with a strong sense of ownership to adapt quickly and drive impact in a fast-paced environment
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:
All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
