Job Description
In this part-time role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of overnight sleep tests on patients with suspected sleep disorders at our Epworth HealthCare sites in Camberwell, Richmond and Geelong.
You will provide optimal clinical sleep disorder services and positive clinical outcomes to the patient ensuring long-term health and wellbeing that is consistent with Epworth HealthCare's Vision and Values. Working within a multidisciplinary, provide effective clinical, educational, emotional support and holistic best practice care
to the patient and the family. Promote excellence to our customers and the marketplace and support colleagues by sharing knowledge and expertise.

You will make an impact by:
- Preparing patients for overnight sleep studies
- Overnight monitoring of patients undergoing sleep studies, including the implementation of CPAP therapy
- Providing patients with CPAP therapy education sessions, including CPAP mask fitting
- Preparing, maintaining and calibration of biomedical equipment
- Participation in quality improvement projects

You Will Have:
- Relevant experience in a hospital setting
- Flexibility to work evening, overnight and weekend shifts
- Knowledge and expertise in respiratory, cardiac and neuro-physiological processes and clinical measurement techniques
- Demonstrated skills in working as a member of a team and liaising, collaborating and negotiating with other service providers and agencies, patient’s families and carers
- Demonstrate well developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Innovative, proactive and creative attitude to problem solving
- Excellent computer literacy including MS Office Word & Excel

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science / Applied Science with appropriate majors (Biophysics, Physiology, Biomedical Science)
- Eligibility for full membership of the Australia and New Zealand Sleep Science Association
