Key Responsibilities:

  • Services we plan on offering include:
  • New EPCs
  • Energy audits, assessments
  • LCAs
  • Energy efficiency and new technology feasibility studies, possibly implementation
  • Renewable energy procurement
  • Apart from the project delivery the technical expert will have a proactive role in practice and business development.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently and availability to travel will also be an advantage.

Qualifications

Experience

Necessary:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with building systems, energy management, HVAC, BMS, prop tech & smart systems, etc.
  • Licensure: Current or potential to obtain a license as an energy specialist as per Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade requirements Colliers can sponsor your exams to obtain the permit.
  • Energy Audits and Assessments: Experience conducting energy audits and other building performance assessments and recommending energy efficiency improvements.
  • ESG/environmental Due Diligences: Experience in conducting ESG/environmental analysis of assets and portfolios for transaction purposes as well as to create strategies for upgrades, retrofits and project financing.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Understanding the current EU legislative landscape regarding energy and sustainability and willingness to keep up with the changes.

Advantage:

  • Green Building Certification Knowledge: Experience providing technical services as part of or for BREEAM, LEED, and WELL certifications, technical due diligence and decarbonization.
  • Project and Team Management: Prior experience managing a team, and liaising with subcontractors, and stakeholders in sustainability or technical projects.

Education And Skills

  • Language: Working proficiency in both Czech and English
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and data and generate actionable insights for improving building performance.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients for data collection, guiding them through project delivery, addressing feedback, and presenting final deliverables.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and evolving business needs.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in energy systems and sustainability.
