Lead Transporter- Full-time

Exciting Opportunity with Banyan Treatment Centers!
We’re seeking a responsible and experienced Lead Transporter to support the safe and efficient movement of patients during their recovery journey. In this leadership role, you’ll help ensure transportation operations run smoothly while maintaining safety, professionalism, and patient support at all times.

Position Details:

• Reporting to: Director of Operations
• Schedule: Full-time (On-site)
• Location: Castle Rock, CO
• Compensation: $21 -$22 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Shift: Provide direction to other transport staff during your shift and ensure clear communication with the Transportation Supervisor and relevant departments.
• Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients to and from appointments, group sessions, recreational activities, and discharge destinations.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of company vehicles in accordance with organizational standards.
• Safety and Professionalism: Follow all transportation policies and procedures while fostering a safe, secure environment during all transport activities.
• Patient Interaction: Maintain respectful, professional interactions with patients, providing emotional reassurance and assistance when needed.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clinical and operational staff to coordinate transport schedules and report concerns or incidents.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• Previous experience in a transporter or driver role.
• 1 or more years of experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting or an associate's degree or better.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a Lead role. 

Preferences:

• Prior leadership or shift lead experience in a transportation or logistics setting.
• CPR or first aid certification a plus.
• Familiarity with patient confidentiality and safety standards.
